Top prospect Nicholas Robertson shines in Leafs 6-2 Win over Blues

The Toronto Maple Leafs kicked of The Traverse City Rookie Tournament Friday night with a 6-2 win over The St.Louis Blues.

Former Leafs prospect Dakota Joshua found the back of the net early for The Blues however they would not hold the lead for long as Colt Conrad quickly responded for The Leafs.

The Blues got into penalty trouble in the 2nd which saw the Leafs take control of the game with back to back goals by 2nd round pick Nicholas Robertson.

GOALS: Conrad, Estephan, Robertson(2), Kivihalme, and Bradley

Semyon Der-Arguchinstev led they way in assist with 3, while Korshkov had a highlight reel pass in the 2nd period to assist on Estephans goal.

Ian scott picked up the win shutting the door after a shakey start.

The Leafs will face the BlackHawks in game 2 tomorrow at 3pm est.
