After overager Justin Brazeau exploded in his last 2 OHL seasons, a combined 188 points in 136 games with 100 goals he became a hot commodity to a majority if The NHL as a 21 year old.
Not only was he an offensive juggernaut for The North Bay Battalion but he also stood out for his size and the way he used it.
As a 6’6 225LB winger putting over 60 goals (albeit as a 21 year old) in The OHL it wasn’t long before NHL teams were lining up to add Brazeau to their prospect pools, including The Toronto Maple Leafs.
On April 4th The Ontario native signed a 2 year contract with The Maple Leafs affiliate The Toronto Marlies.
Brazeau will represent The Maple Leafs at The Traverse City Rookie Tournament this coming Weekend in Michigan and will definitely be a player to keep an eye on.
