Maple Leafs goalie prospect Ian Scott had a dream year for The Prince Albert Raiders and Monday night he was rewarded With The WHL Championship and Playoff MVP.
After going 38-8-2 in the regular season with a 1.83GAA and .932SV% Scott carried that momentum into the playoffs where he went 16-6-1 with a 1.96GAA and .925SV%.
Scott even added a goal for The Prince Albert Raiders.. yes a goal, when he found an empty net in the regular season.
The 4th round pick of the Maple Leafs in 2017 will head to Halifax, Nova Scotia where Prince Albert will take part in The Memorial Cup with Guelph, Rouyn-Noranda and Host Halifax.
The tournament that brings The Champions of The OHL, WHL, and QMJHL together kicks off May 17th.
